Brand Elements

Defining Brand: Why Is It So Hard To Find A Perfect Definition?

What is a brand element? According to element is Elements used to express and or represent and identify, differentiate the brand. The consistent use of Brand Elements in all marketing programs helps communicate the Brand Character to the marketplace.

There are many different brand elements that a brand needs and can be used. Today, the four most essential and efficient brand identity elements that I have identified are the following; name, logo, slogan, and image.

Name: Coming up with a catchy, perfect name to your brand is no easy task. There are several variables to consider, such as the identity you would like to portray to your audience, market availability, and the proper alignment that comes with your brand strategy.

Logo: Now, I believe logos are fun because if you don’t think you have a creative side, then a logo will bring that out of you. (In my opinion, each human being has a creative side). A logo is a trademark that happens to be visual, and it is essential to your brand; it is what separates you from your competition. It doesn’t have to be a logo; it can also be a wordmark; for example, brands with wordmarks are Google, FedEx, UPS, and USPS.

Slogan: This can be a catchy phrase that your brand identifies with and can connect you with your audience, clients, it can lead to creating brand loyalty. The expression quickly defines your brand’s position. It needs to be memorable, comfortable to say, and match the personality of your brand.

Image: If you’re using pictures related to stocks or in-house photos, this needs to be consistent for your marketing and advertising purposes. It needs to be consistent and have excellent quality.

Its simple to understand these four brand elements, but to come up with each and create an idea for your brand is another project. Think outside the box; we’re all creative in our unique way; you need to find what makes you and tour brand unique. Good luck!
